Who are authorized to use the K. I. E. T. Central Library?
All students, Faculty members and Staff of the Institute are authorized to use the library. Student alumni and visiting faculties also have the privilege to use the library. However, for availing the borrowing facilities, users need to enroll themselves as librarymembers after fulfilling the requisite procedures.
Can I bring my personal books or other reading materials to the library?
No. users are not allowed to bring their personal books or other reading materials to the library.

How To Calculate the Fines?
Fines are charged at Rs. 2.00 per book per day overdue.
How can I recommend a book for purchase in the library?
An authorized user can recommend a book for purchase by filling a Book Recommendation Form that can be obtained from book Acquisition & Technical Division. The form should be routed through the Head of your department for his recommendation.
