KIET Central Library is primarily meant for students, faculty, staff and visiting faculty of KIET. At his discretion, the Director may also allow the Non-KIETians to be the member.Non-KIETians shall have to pay caution money of Rs.5000.00 and annual Subscription fee of Rs.1000.00 to become a member of the library. The caution money will be refunded on termination of membership. |

How to get library membership |

Collect library membership form from Asstt. Librarian. |
|
Complete form duly recommended by the H.O.D. (for faculty and staff /Counselor) |
|
Submit the above mentioned form to the Asstt. Librarian along with a passport size photograph. (for students). |

Loss of Library cum Identity Card and Book |

The members are responsible for ID Cards issued to them. Loss of ID Card should be reported in writing to the Library immediately. First duplicate ID Card will be issued on payment of Rs.100.00 Subsequent duplicate cards will be issued after a payment of Rs.200.00 . |

Members shall be responsible for any loss which library may suffer because of the loss or misuse of ID Card. Members who are found using the ID Card they have declared as lost will charged a sum of Rs.50.00. |

In case of loss of a book by the borrower, he/she shall replace the book + fine as admissible. Failing which he/she shall pay double cost of the book + fine as admissible. |

If the book of a multi Volume set is damaged or lost the member concerned shall be liable to replace the whole set + fine admissible or pay double times the cost of the set + fine admissible. |
