My Dear Students,

Our institute has entered into the second decade of its existence and that too with aplomb. In year 2008 the KIET was the only institute in UPTU to be judged as a STAR PERFORMER among all the technical institutions of the University. In year 2009 we got the EXCELLENCE AWARD – an honour which only one other institute among all the UPTU institution could get. It is worth mentioning that the award committee in their final report stated that:

• The growth achieved in about ten years is spectacular.
• There is a great potential to emerge as a leading institution

The above clearly indicates that we have achieved our vision, goals and objectives that we had set for ourselves for the first decade. The entire credit for this goes to the KIET family i.e. the Management, Faculty, Staff, Students (past & present) & their parents and all other well wishers of the institute.

As we have already entered into the second decade, and our VISION STATEMENT rightly states that this will be a decade of EDUCATION WITH IMAGINATION. Our goals and objectives have to be, therefore, necessarily higher. The stress will have to be on enhancing the Intellectual Capital of the teacher and the taught. This alone is the key, I feel, to transform KIET from a leading institution of UP to a leading institution of the country. This I am entirely confident that KIET will definitely achieve by the end of the second decade or even earlier. The KIET family will prove this right again.
