Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  1. To prepare the students to excel in industry/technical profession through quality education.

  2. To build a sound foundation in science, mathematics and management principles to enable the students to grasp the core concepts of mechanical engineering.

  3. To inculcate high professional and ethical attitude in students along with strong communication skills, multi- tasking approach and team spirit.

  4. To enhance student’s ability to analyze real life problems and provide viable solutions with design and developments of socially relevant projects.

  5. To create a conducive environment for the students through strong industry academia connect and habit of life-long learning using latest and advanced technological tools.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

  1. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

  2. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.

  3. An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.

  4. An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.

  5. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.

  6. An ability to communicate effectively. & to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.

  8. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

  9. An ability to apply principles of engineering, basic science, and mathematics (including multivariate calculus and differential equations) to model, analyze, design, and realize physical systems, components or processes.

  10. An ability to work professionally in both thermal and mechanical systems areas.

  11. An ability to communicate effectively.
