Our Success Stories

Introduction

Our success stories have made our belief stronger that we are moving in the right direction.We at KIET believe in the words that knowledge becomes wisdom only after it has been put to practical use. It is because of this that we encourage our students to discover and tap the wide horizons of their capabilities. They get ample opportunity to develop their academic and entrepreneurial skills and it is this exposure that provides them a cutting edge over their competitors in the market. Our students have only strengthened our belief in them. They have worked diligently and innovatively to do us proud.

The institute, in short time, has been able to spot, nurture and develop entrepreneurial talent among its students. Some of our success stories are the following.

Kiet.edu Website

The Institute's website was developed by 1999 batch of MCA students in their fifth semester. This site won the Golden Web Award by Web Masters and Web Designers Association, for the year 2002-2003. The site has been designed, launched and hosted on our in-house servers by the students.

Library Automation System

The Incubator (Ram Computer Solutions Inc.) was launched by three MCA students of 1999 batch during their VI Semester, i.e., the project phase. The Library Automation System, developed by them is fully functional and is inuse in the college library. The system is available for sale and order have also been received from a university in Haridwar and a college in Sahibabad.

Electronics Design Center

This Incubator is being run by the students and faculty, under Earn-While-Learn Scheme. This center designs, develops and manufactures Electronic Lab equipments. Order to the tune of Rs. Four lacs have already been received. Students are paid for the amount of work they do. This is a joint venture with M/s Salicon Technology, which ensures marketing of the products.

(IV) Establishment of EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Camp) at KIET.	Rs.34.8 lacs Sanctioned on 25/08/03
