Welcome to EVST- 2026

The International Conference on Emerging VLSI and Semiconductor Technology for AI and Computing Applications 2026 (EVST-2026) is going to be held in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India on 26th -27th June 2026.
The International Conference on Emerging VLSI and Semiconductor Technology for AI and Computing Applications 2026 is poised to be a significant gathering for professionals in the fields of VLSI design, semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, and computing systems. The conference consists of various sessions and includes keynote and parallel sessions. Each session will be addressed by outstanding experts who will highlight the recent advances in various facets of Emerging VLSI and Semiconductor Technology. The conference will offer the budding researchers with an opportunity to present their work in front of eminent experts of their fields and discussion on the latest innovations, trends and practical concerns and challenges faced in these fields. The Innovations presented will bring added value and widen the employment base. The present conference attempt to establish some robust and mutual interactions and cooperation with scientific educational, governmental and non-governmental organizations, and industries across local, national and international levels to meet the objectives of creating contacts as possible to provide a means for scientific and industrial exchanges, boosting the scientific and research collaborations with other scientific centers in the country and around the world.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Soft copy of the full-length paper in MS word / pdf format (as per conference template) must be submitted before 16th December 2025. All the submitted Full Length Papers will be reviewed and evaluated based on the originality, technical aspects, research depth, authenticity of the data used and relevance to the theme of the conference. The work should be original and should not have been published in any Journal or proceedings.

The finally accepted papers will be considered for presentation (via hybrid mode) and publication in the conference proceedings. The Conference proceedings will be submitted to Scopus for indexing.

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in 1998 and is NBA accredited since 2007. The department presently offers an undergraduate program in Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake of 180 students. The department is running with 34 qualified permanent faculty members (Professor: 06, Associate Professor :06, Assistant Professor: 22) out of which 27 are Ph. D holders and 07 are pursuing their Ph.D. The department also has 2 adjunct faculty Members, who have experience and expertise in the advanced domains of Electronics and Communication Engineering. A total of 07 research scholars are doing their Ph. D. under the able guidance of faculties in the various emerging fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering such as Wireless Sensor Networks, artificial intelligence, machine learning, signal processing, microwave engineering, wireless communication, VLSI systems, micro-nano devices, embedded systems, etc. The department is facilitated by well-equipped laboratories such as Basic Electronics Engineering lab, Digital System Design lab, Electronics Device lab, Network Analysis and Synthesis Lab, Microprocessor and Microcontroller lab, Communication lab, Microwave and Optical communication lab, Integrated circuit lab, Digital signal processing lab, VLSI lab, Control system lab and project lab. In addition to this, the department has advanced labs funded by AICTE under MODROB Scheme like Advanced Integrated Circuit Lab, Advanced Communication Lab, Advanced PCB Lab useful to UG and Ph.D. students. The department is growing in all dimensions in terms of the research facility, student strength, infrastructure, advanced teaching/learning methodologies, and industrial collaboration.

The department has organized more than 25 Short Term Training Programs and 5 International Conferences in the last five years. The department is progressing with more than 600 publications in reputed National/International journals and conferences. In the last five years, the department has set a good record of 36 patents published and granted. Also, the department has received externally funded research projects worth more than 71 Lacs from various agencies like, AKTU, Lucknow, AICTE, Nidhi Prayas etc.. The department has also set up some Industry sponsored labs like KIET-NI LabVIEW Academy with National Instruments (USA), KIET MBS Bio-Medical Instrumentation Research Lab with MBS Pvt. Ltd. (India), Centre for Space Technologies with ISRO (India), Innovation Lab with Texas Instruments (USA) for academic and industrial research work. We also have a Centre of Excellence on Robotics and Mechatronics where an E-Yantra Lab has been established which is sponsored by IIT, Bombay and Centre of Advanced VLSI Design powered by Cadence Research Bundle. The department has enthusiastic UG students. Their aspiring minds have been helpful in taking the department to new heights. Their placement record has been improving year by year with the highest package of 44.14 Lacs/annum in Amazon and average CTC of about 7.75 Lacs/annum and placed in reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Samsung, DXC, Capgemini etc. and most of our B.Tech. students are associated with renowned industries for their internship in the First Year, second year and Third Year of their study. With the help of ECE Hobby clubs, the students learn different management skills like proposing the event, arranging the relevant activities, communicating with professionals across the nation and abroad, coordinating with the team members etc. These ECE Hobby clubs help in the overall development of students of all cadres where they are provided with an excellent opportunity to learn and create what they inculcate. Mentors are provided to them who guide and help them overcome challenges faced throughout the completion of the activities. We, as a team, are working meticulously to achieve the set standards for the overall growth of the department and its stakeholders committed to achieving the Mission and Vision of our department.






DEPARTMENTAL HIGHLIGHTS

Scientific and Industrial Research Organisations (SIROs) Recognition

KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad (UP), under Krishna Charitable Society recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organizations (SIROs) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Its primary objective is to bring together voluntary organizations operating in non-commercial sector with a view to promote their activities around scientific and industrial research, design and development of indigenous technology to achieve technological self-reliance and minimized foreign inputs. This prestigious recognition helps KIET to establish in house Research and Development on new technologies, products, processes etc. It also provides a link between scientific laboratories and industrial establishments for transfer of technologies through National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) and facilitates investment in R&D through Central Electronics Limited (CEL).


Robotics and Mechatronics Lab

Center of excellence of Robotics and Mechatronics has also been established by the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of KIET Group of Institutions. E- Yantra Lab has also been established by the ECE Department, which is sponsored by IIT, Bombay. Robotics and Mechatronics Lab are beyond the AKTU syllabus. This lab is very useful for all the other departments of engineering. In this lab we have Fire Bird V, Fire Bird VI, Fire bird XII, and Four Wheel based robots. We have recently unveiled its most impressive creation to date—a highly advanced humanoid robot Anushka. The culmination of years of research and engineering expertise, this humanoid represents a significant leap forward in the field of robotics. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and an array of remarkable capabilities, the Institute's humanoid has the potential to revolutionize various industries and redefine the relationship between humans and machines.




Centre of Advanced VLSI Design (Powered by Cadence University Program)

The Centre of Advanced VLSI Design (Powered by Cadence University Program) at KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to fostering innovation, research, and excellence in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) design. The centre has 30 computer system with advanced configuration and is equipped with the Cadence University Research Bundle. The Cadence University Research bundle consists of all the Front-end and Back-end tools required for chip design. The objectives of Centre of Advanced VLSI Design is to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by providing industry standard EDA tools and training in VLSI design, simulation, verification, and implementation.




KIET MBS Research Centre (Centre of Excellence)

KIET MBS Research Centre was established in the month of January 2021 with the Vision to develop a Research and Development platform in the institute to meet the needs of one of the biggest industries in the world, that is Health Industry. To become the only institute having maximum no. of commercialized products. The Mission of the Centre is to establish a high-level R&D in the Institute and to provide the emerging technology to the students, faculty and staff.
