Celebration of Matribhasha Diwas (21st Feb 2022)

International Mother Language Day, or Matribhasha Diwas, is a global yearly event conducted on February 21st to raise awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity as well as multilingualism. On this occasion, KIET Group of Institutions have conducted various activities. In this event students were participated with full enthusiasm. Participants were asked to do different-different task in their native language.

Webinar on “Future of Girls in professional & Technical Education under “MISSION SHAKTI” (15th August 2021)

KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad has organized a webinar on “Future of Girls in professional & Technical Education” on the occasion of 15th August 2021. Around 10 females participated in Panchyat Ghar, Village Asaalat Nagar following social distancing. A different kind of enthusiasm was seen among them. They were curious to know about their rights and also the future opportunities to become independent.

“Women Outreach Cell”: an initiative by UP Government for the Upliftment of women at KIET (15th August 2021)

KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad has always been empowering women to train and empower women in rural areas. The event was organized with the objective to make women of the village Asalat Nagar regarding awareness of their rights and train them for self reliance and take them towards technical and professional education. Also the efforts were being made to generate awareness among them to learn courses which can provide earnings from home.
Around 10 females participated in Panchyat Ghar, Village Asaalat Nagar following social distancing. A different kind of enthusiasm was seen among them. They were curious to know about their rights and also the future opportunities to become independent. At the same time arrangement was made for small kids to make drawings on “Save Water Save Lives” and plantation of trees through small girls to make them aware importance of water & environment on the occasion of 75th Independence Day and drawing sheets and colours were distributed to kids.

Online quiz on “GANDHI Ji” (29th May 2021)

KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, Office of Dean student welfare has organized an online quiz on “GANDHI JI” in association with National Gandhi Museum and Library, Rajghat New Delhi on 29th May 2021. In which more than 50 students participated with full enthusiasm. Quiz has different questions related to life and major events of GANDHI JI. All the participants of quiz were grouped in five teams named as Satya, Ahinsa, Satyagraha, Sarvodaya, Karuna. Team Satyagraha was the winner of the event. Everyone enjoyed the auspicious activity. The event was concluded with a thanks note to all the participant. Assistant Professor Swati and Assistant Professor Siddharth Jain played an important role in coordination and organizing this activity. We wished that this pandemic would be over soon and everything will be normal. Till the time Stay Safe, Stay Healthy.

Essay Competition (03rd April 2021)

As per the direction from PMO & MoE ID No. 5342841/PMO/2021/SW dated 18.03.2021 from Prime Minister’s Office to achieve the objective of "Elimination of Single-Use Plastic”, the essay competition among students has been conducted. This event was on 3/04/2021 wherein more than 200 plus students participated under the supervision of 5 faculties.The event was coordinated by Dr. Minakshi Karwal. Online Creative Writing (23rd January 2021)

KIET Group of Institutions has organized creative writing event to tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the 125h anniversary of his birth. The event was conducted on 23rd January 2021 via Ms-teams. Participants were expected to write a paragraph of 150 words regarding an image of Subhash Chandra Bose that was provided to them via a Google form. This event was conducted by Odyssey- the Literary Society of KIET.

Parakram Diwas Celebration (23rd January 2021)

The GOI has decided to observe January 23 as 'Parakram Diwas' to commemorate the birth anniversary of Neta ji Subash Chandra Bose, who was born on this day in 1897.
In order to honor and remember Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation, we at KIET Group of Institutions has celebrated the birthday of Neta ji Subash Chandra Bose as “Parakram Diwas” on 23 Jan 2021.

Republic Day 2021 (26th January 2021)

KIET Group of Institutions celebrated the Nation’s 72 Republic Day and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighter.
The celebration began in the college premises with the unfurling of the National flag followed by National anthem and a speech with patriotic zeal and fervour by the honorable Director Dr. (Col) A Garg, Joint Director Dr. Manoj Goel. Then KIET Director addressed the audience on the occasion. Dean student welfare addressed the students and told to follow the ideals of the great peoples. Nukkad Natak by Ayushman Club is presented for addressing the benefits of COVID-19 Vaccine.

E Cultural Fest-2021 (05th to 08th January 2021)

The Grand E-event named “E-Cultural Fest-2021”, (05Jan - 08Jan 2021) was one of its first kind in the history of KIET. This 4 days Mega E Cultural Fest 2021” was spread across the week from 5th January to 8th January, from 4-8 PM in evening hours, where 14 different events like TAKE-DE-BAIT, KAVYRANJAN, VISTAS (Fashion Event), KANVAAS (Art Event), KAP-CHAR, BANDISH-E-SUR, FEEL THE BEAT, ART IN MOTION, ATRANG (MONOACTING), GENRAL QUIZ, ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS QUIZ, FILMOTSAV (Film making), PIXEL PATH, PHOTOGRAPHY was conducted in an online mode on various platforms like MS Team, Google meet, You Tube channel and Instagram. Total around 908 students registered themselves for this mega event to participate in this thrilling event. There were total 14 events which was coordinated by institutional clubs. These four days were grand evenings and cherishing moments for KIETIANS and their family as well, because for the first time they witnessed their wards events and felt the warmth of co-curricular activities. The Inauguration of the event took place with the opening remarks of Director Sir, Dr. (Col) Amik Garg. Each event was hosted with huge energy and enthusiasm. It was a combined and consistence effort of entire team of Dean SW, Faculty Coordinators, Apex Coordinator, Student Club Coordinators. All the participants were facilitated with the e-certificates of participation and winners with their position secured in the respective event along with exciting cash prizes.

"RUBAROO" Organized by KMC (12th October 2020)

KIET Music Club organized two back to back live events online, named as "RUBAROO"-The Live Event Show and "MUSICAL FACEOFF" amidst the global pandemic in order to boost the morale of the students and to make the lockdown fun virtually.
KIET Music Club organized an online event "MUSICAL FACEOFF" where the pair of students were asked to send their own recorded video on similar songs given on the Instagram handle @kietmusicclub.
All the videos were posted on the KIET Music Club's Instagram page .Also, the winners were announced on the basis of the certain guidelines in which 30% was based on the reaction of our audience and 70% was based on the panel judgement.
This live event "MUSICAL FACEOFF" was conducted on 12th Oct 2020 on the Instagram handle of KIETMUSICCLUB - @kietmusicclub.
KIET Music Club was also live on Instagram with our alumni Shashank Durgavanshi , who have already made us proud with his achievements. The event was successfully hosted by Ankit Kumar CSE 4th year student with a lot of fun and interaction.
Our alumni entertained us with some beautiful performances and shared some glimpses of their amazing stories with us. He performed a couple of songs on the basis of our audience voting and further we gave the results of one of our events "MUSICAL FACEOFF " on the live event.
The main purpose was to appreciate the musical talent of our alumni and having a musical gathering cherishing their beautiful experiences and provide entertainment to the students of our college.

KIET-काव्यांजलि(07th, 08th October 2020)

KIET-काव्यांजलि का एक मात्र उद्देश्य है, लोगों के अंदर छिपी प्रतिभा को उजागर करना और उसको एक नया रूप देना साथ ही साथ KIET-काव्यांजलि छात्रों को साहित्य से जोड़े रखने का काम करती है। KIET-काव्यांजलि ने 7 और 8 अक्टूबर को छात्रों की साहित्यिक कला को उजागर करने के लिए "काव्यदर्शन" नामक एक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया।इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन माइक्रोसॉफ्ट टीम्स पर हुआ और यह कार्यक्रम KIET-काव्यांजलि के फेसबुक पेज पर लाइव चला था। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों ने बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया। इस कार्यक्रम में 70 से भी ज्यादा छात्रों ने प्रतिभाग किया और अपनी शानदार काव्य प्रस्तुति से महफ़िल में चार चाँद लगा दिए। 7 अक्टूबर को कार्यक्रम विकास शर्मा और रुपाली गिरी के संचालन में हुआ।सभी छात्रों ने बारी-बारी प्रस्तुति दी और सभी के हृदय में अपनी छाप छोड़ दी।प्रतिभागियों ने सभी को विभिन्न रसों की कविताओं से मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। अंत में नेहा भदैरिया मैम ने सभी प्रतिभागियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की। सभी प्रतिभागियों में से कुछ चुनिंदा प्रतिभागियों को 8 अक्टूबर को काव्य प्रस्तुति देने का अवसर प्रदान किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में KIET-काव्यांजलि के छात्रों ने भी प्रस्तुति देकर KIET-काव्यांजलि का नाम रोशन किया।सभी ने अपनी शानदार प्रस्तुति से निर्णयकों और श्रोताओं को तालियाँ बजाने पर मजबूर कर दिया।इस कार्यक्रम के विजेता शिशिर गोयल, संस्कृति जायसवाल और कनिका कंसल रहे। अंत में KIET-काव्यांजलि ने सभी प्रतिभागियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की और सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण पत्र से नवाजा गया।KIET-काव्यांजलि ने भविष्य में अधिक से अधिक साहित्यिक कार्यक्रम के आयोजनों का दायित्व लिया और इसी के साथ दो दिवसीय कार्यक्रम का अंत हुआ।

RANGMANCH (01st October to 07th October 2020)

KIET DRAMATICS SOCIETY (K.D.S.) has successfully conducted an enthralling Open event named “RANGMANCH” held from 1st October 2020 to 7th October 2020.
The event was based on the 3 themes : Real Life Heroes, Life is a theatre and Journey of College life.
Students from KIET as well as other institutes also took part with gusto in the event. We received more than 100 entries and 50 participants qualified for the second round. Various domains were-: Mono act, Mime, Standup, Poetry writing, Short story writing, Sketching, painting, doodling, Photography, Poster making. The event was overall a great success. Two Metre Quiztance (02nd October 2020)

Two-Metre Quiztance a gender diversity quiz was organized by Team Quizzinga-The Quiz Club of KIET in association with Internal Complaint Committee. We are extremely delighted by the active and enthusiastic participation of the students in the Quiz. Prelims were conducted on October 2nd, 2020, followed by the finale on October 10, 2020. There were a total registrations of 285 students. The quiz was conducted on MS Teams and Zoom. Our heartiest congratulations to the Winners.

Online Dance Competition (27th September 2020)

KIET Dance Club (KDC) organised online Dance Competition 2020 on 27/09/2020 from 11 AM to 11:45 AM Via YOUTUBE LIVE. A large number of dance videos were received from 3 dance groups of KDC (namely Kommotion,Steppers, Phoenix). Top 3 dance performances were selected from each dance group for the event.. hence total 9 participants performed in the Event .Out of these 3 best performances were selected by judges/ KDC Faculty Coordinator(Mr. SONENDRA/Mrs. Arika Singh). Winners of the event are 
First Prize- Sneha Sharma from CO
Second Prize- tie between Sakshi Singh from IT and Saumya ojha from EC
Third Prize- Vandana Arora from IT

Online Quiz Competition On 26th September 2020

Team Quizzinga have successfully organised Livin' La Vida Lockdown Quiz on Instagram, held on 26th September 2020 from 6:00 PM -7:30 PM. In this event more than 40 Students have participated.

Blood Donation Camp (29th January 2020)

KIET Group of Institutions Organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with "The Rotary Blood Bank” on 29th January 2020. Event was started with blood donation by Director Dr. (Col) A Garg, Joint DirectorDr. Manoj Goel&Dean(SW)-Dr.Ashish Karnwal. In this camp Overwhelming number of faculties and Volunteers of different departments has participated with vivacity. The main aim of the event was to create awareness among students about the donation of blood and how it can help other person in need.

PRAVEGA 2020 (26th January 2020)

Under the flagship of the Civil Engineering Department, The Civil Engineering Club – CIVEC successfully organized the event— "PRAVEGA 2020 (3rd Edition)" on 26th January 2020. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than 700 students from different departments of the KIET Group of Institutions. PRAVEGA 2020 included various events like — Treasure hunt, Bidders Battle (IPL Auctioning), How Well You Know Each Other and various other fun events like Tug of War, Musical Chair, etc.

'National Voters' Day Celebration (25th January 2020)

KIET Group of Institutions celebrated 'National Voters Day'(राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस) on January 25, 2020.As said by Swami Vivekananda Ji — "Youth is the only foundation on which the future nation can be built.", youth must shoulder the responsibility to lead the nation in every way. With the aim to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process.

YOUTH WEEK CELEBRATION (12th to 16th Jan 2020)

In honour of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12th of January a full week (12th Jan to 16th Jan 2020) is celebrated as youth week instead of a day. A seminar was conducted on this occasion on 12th January 2020. The essay & Debate competition on topic “JAN HAI TOH JAHAN HAI” were conducted in on 13th of January.
In the series of celebration a rally was organized on 14th Jan by the faculty members along with students. The students were asked to make a poster on “YOUTH” on 15th Jan, The students were provided with 2 hours to complete their posters. Finally certificate was awarded on 16th January 2020 for the winners & Participants in the event.

CONSTITUTIONAL AWARENESS QUIZ (12th January 2020)

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Constitution, we organised a national constitution quiz. The quiz master asked an array of questions pertaining to the constitution.
There were around 30 teams in the quiz. After a session of few questions top 5 teams were selected. Those top 5 teams were then asked another set of questions by the quiz master.
The winning team was Sujeet Mehrotra and Vinay Gupta.

Cloth Collection Drive by Tem UDDESHHYA(06-15 November 2019)

“When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.” Team UDDESHHYA, the social welfare group of KIET running a Cloth Collection Drive 2019 from 6 November to 15th November, 2019. Items that can be donated: • Warm clothes (new or old in good condition) of all age groups. • Sweaters, shawls, socks, woolen caps, scarfs, and innerwear etc.

MUSICAL MOTIVATIONAL SESSION by KMC(08 November 2019)

KIET Music Club successfully organized a "MUSICAL MOTIVATIONAL SESSION" by India's one and only Musical motivational and TEDx speaker Mr. Vineet Tandon on agenda "CORPORATE EXPECTATIONS FROM GRADUATES" on 8th November 2019. The session was a blend of Enjoyment and lots of motivational talks along with seasoning of poetry and songs.
The exciting response from the audience and their gathering with a big smile on their faces easily conclude the grand success of the session.

MEHANDI AND RANGOLI COMPETITION REPORT OF GARGI HOSTEL(16 October 2019)

On 16th October a program of Mehandi and Rangoli competition was organised for the residents of Gargi Hostel to bring the homely festive environment and to increase the intimacy and bonding among them. 16 girls participated in Mehandi and 5 Girls in Rangoli competition. The other residents of Gargi hostel were also the part of this festive evening. Filled with energy and enthusiasm they were cheering and encouraging the participants. Meanwhile the participants were showing their talents.

Passport Seva - Student Connect Program (14 October 2019)

Passport Seva Project (PSP) - the largest e- Governance initiative by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in public private partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has transformed passport service delivery in India. As a part of the project, 89 Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) have been opened across India and over 50,000 citizens are being serviced from these Kendras on a daily basis. On the view of this, a student awareness program on “Passport Seva - Student Connect Program” of Mr. Pankaj Singh (TCS Manager & Citizen Service Manager, PSK Ghaziabad), Mr. Gaurav Bansal & his team was held on 04/10/2019 at KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR campus, Muradnagar. The program is co-ordinated by Dr. Brajesh Kr. Tiwari.

Stunt Show by KTM (27-September-2019)

KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, organized Stunt Show by KTM was organized on 27th September 2019. The event received a warm response from KIETians.

Going on Gandhi’s Ideals- Emphasis to save Environment(02-Oct-2019)

The Team "Jai Bharat Jai Bhoomi" was miraculously leaded by environmentalist Ms Meenakshi Karwal, with immense support from the management of the KIET Group of Institutions, Dr. (Col.) A. Garg, Joint Director Dr. Manoj Goel and Dean (Student Welfare) Dr. Ashish Karnwal on 2.10.2019 on the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. “Cleanliness is service” message was spread among Peoples. Audience was made aware and urged not to use plastic. Team took out the plastic bier and conveyed a strong message to the peoples. Plastic biers were taken out from KIET Group of Institutions to Railway Road Muradnagar with banners and posters filled with the messages. Rally was taken out on the entire railway road shouting slogans related to plastic side effects and environmental damage. People were informed about the damage done to the environment by plastic by organizing a street theatre on the railway road itself. Honorable Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi has informed the world about the damage caused by plastic to the environment and is urging everyone to stop using plastic so that the environment could be pure and clean.

Plastic waste free awareness campaign-2019 at KIET (27-September-2019)

“Sustainable development is impossible without change and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything”. To bring this paradigm shift, on 27th of September 2019, three events under AICTE "Environmental awareness campaign "Plastic Waste Free Campaign - Swachhta hi Sewa-2019" was organized at KIET. Essay writing competition, poster making competition and nukkad natak performance were included in the awareness campaign. “JAI BHARAT, JAI BHUMI” team organized the event, in which number of students took part for the noble cause to conserve environment. No, of students participated in essay competition to decode their environmental thoughts on paper. Eco friendly hand made cloth banner was an innovative step of the event to stop pollution produced from plastic flex, which got a lot of appreciation. Team “EXPRESSIONS” performed nukkar-natak on plastic impact on the environment and biodiversity and how people are dealing with it at present and what can be done in future to abate plastic pollution.

‘Life’ any day has more MEANING than ‘No Life’

Awareness program on suicide prevention and mental health was organized by KIET Ghaziabad in association with Your Dost. The speaker was Dr. Seema Sharma, a renowned clinical psychologist. In this blog, we are covering the top 10 takeaways from Dr. Seema’s session: • The changing society, the paradigm shift • Detection of early signs of suicide attempt • The evolutionary changes of human brain • What the survivors say • Decision making system of our brain • Understanding mental health concerns among students • Mental health conditions getting a common place in campuses • Students and their stressors • Role of peers in suicide prevention - Identifying the warning signs • How to approach the right kind of person in such a situation

A confounding and captivating talk-show and performance session (25-Sep-2019)

A confounding and captivating talk-show and performance session was organized by members of TEDx Club on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 starring Vilen, Big Smoke, and Maya. Vilen is a famous YouTuber, singer, artist and the owner of the channel 'Darks Music Company’ and is popularly known for his songs ‘Ek Raat’, ‘Ravan’ and ‘Savan’. He was accompanied by his benevolent team of his director ‘BigSsmoke’ and the beatboxer ‘Maya’.The show started off with their grand entry and performance followed by the engaging talk session. The Trio set the stage on fire by their performance, at the same time gave valuable advice to the students about life as well as the industry. The audience was awestruck by the live performances and the entire auditorium echoed with loud applause for the guests. The entire auditorium was filled with joy and excitement.

Odyssey-Literary Fest 2k19 (05,06-Sep-2019)

Odyssey- The Literary Society of KIET organized Literary Fest 2k19 at Department Level on 30th-31st August and Institute Level on 5-6 September. More than 1500, Students have participate in various activities like, Twist in a tale, open letter, JAM – English, JAM – Hindi, Group Discussion and Turn Coat

The funds collected were utilized to provide daily need items for them. Team Uddeshhya and Creative Cell organized this Rakhi celebration event.

Dean student welfare addressed the students and told the importance of a single drop of water. Various recreational activities like Poetry, Poster Making and Debate were organized by the students.
