Udghosh. This is the annual sports meet of IIT Kanpur. In the true sense, it is an exhibition of sporting fervour, and success in the meet has been ratified by the success of many of its winners higher up in the sporting hierarchy.
Varchas. This is the annual sports festival of IIT Jodhpur.
Spardha. This is the annual sports festival of IIT (BHU) under the Games and Sports Council. With a glorious history of over 30 years, Spardha has made its presence felt nationwide. Spardha romps in participation from premier institutes such as the IITs and the IIMs, among other colleges.
GICSL. This is the annual sports meet of Galgotia’s University.
RANN, The National Level Sports Fest of KIET Group of Institutions is a three days mega event with participants from more than 70 reputed colleges and universities. It is aimed at leading by example of sportsmanship. Rann infuses passion in veins and emboldens the action being performed.
It is the inter-departmental sports fest organised at KIET.
On January 23, 2021 to give honour and remember Netaji’s Subash Chandra Bose service to the nation, KIET Group of Institutions has celebrated the birthday of Neta ji as “Parakaram Diwas”. On this occasion Institutional Fitness Committee has organized some sports events for faculty and staff members following the guidelines of COVID-19. In this event Race and Relay Race were organized by the Institutional Fitness Committee.
Nominations were invited through online google form and received 26 nominations for 100m Race and 5 Nominations for Relay Race from faculty/staff members. As per the nomination’s players were divided into various categories.
Event was inaugurated by Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav (Dean-Students Welfare), Dr. Adesh Kumar Pandey (Dean-ITS), Dr. R. Sriniwasan (HoD-MBA) and Mr. Anup Srivastava (Registrar) through a 100m Race.
The complete event was organized by Fitness leaders “Dr. Puspendra Kumar” and “Prof. Shiv Kumar Sikarwar” with the able support of Dr. Brajesh Kumar Tiwari (Asst. Dean-Sports) and Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav (Dean SW)
The Institutional Fitness committee (IFC) of KIET Group of Institutions organized amega online sports event “KIET-eKhel @Home” for KIET students form 12 October, 2020 to 17 October, 2020.

It is delightful to share that The Dojo Karate Club have organised "1st Intra College Open Karate Championship-2019" in the KIET campus on 13th nov 2019 in which 14 students participated with full enthusiasm under the guidance of Mr. Abhinav Sharma(Coach), Mr. Tushar Shukla ( Sports Officer ) and Mr. Manoj Kumar Bisth (Faculty Coordinator).The event has been organized in the presence of our Chief Guest Dr. Manoj Goyal (Joint Director), Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav, Dr. Brajesh Kumar Tiwari and Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma(Administrative Officer).

Cricket matches were organized on 02/11/2019 under the fitness committee activity. Nominations were invited through online Google form and received 33 nominations from faculty/staff members. As per the nominations players were divided into three teams A, B and C; which are led by Dr. Vipin Kumar, Dr. Puspendra Kumar and Mr. Rajeev Chaurasiya respectively.
Event was inaugurated by Dr. Ashish Karnwal (Dean-Students Welfare) and Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav (Asst. Dean-Students Welfare) followed by toss between different teams.
