KIET at a Glance
Overview
Established in 1998 with an initial intake of 180 students, KIET (under the aegis of Krishna Charitable Society) has grown into a premier institution recognized for academic excellence and industry-aligned education. With 27 years of legacy in Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, and Computer Applications, KIET has continually strengthened its academic standards and infrastructure. The Institute achieved Autonomous Status in 2024 and has been conferred Deemed-to-be University status under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 in November 2025.
Today, KIET is home to over 9300 students and 440+ highly qualified faculty members who together create a vibrant and learner-centric environment. The Institute is accredited with NAAC ‘A+’, and all eligible programs are NBA accredited. In the NIRF India Rankings 2025, KIET secured Rank 71 in Pharmacy, 151-200 band in Engineering, and 11-50 band in Innovation. The Institute also boasts a QS I-GAUGE Diamond rating and recognition as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by DSIR.
The institute excels through its outcome-based education framework, strong research culture, and industry-aligned learning ecosystem. Its NEP-aligned curriculum, comprehensive technical training, and structured foreign language programs (Japanese, German, Spanish, and French) build global readiness, complemented by international internship pathways.
The institute houses a robust network of Centers of Excellence and academies connect including AWS, CISCO, and Palo Alto - that drive advanced learning, research, and innovation. Notable Centres include the Supercomputing Centre of Excellence, Centre for Space Technologies, Advanced Woodworking Centre, Centre for Drone Technologies, Herbal Product Development Centre, Centre for E-Mobility Solutions, Wipro Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security, Centre for Automotive Mechatronics, and the Centre for Advanced VLSI Design.
Our Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has supported 200+ startups, while the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) cultivates creativity and entrepreneurship on campus. Community engagement through NSS, NCC, and Uddeshya -NGO nurtures social responsibility.

History of Krishna Charitable Society
All progressive organizations are the outcome of dreams, creative ideas and leadership of certain dedicated people. A few years ago, a group of illustrious edupreneurs from Ghaziabad got together and began the most ambitious programme of philanthropy. They established Krishna Charitable Society, a non-profit making organization, and undertook the bold venture of performing service to society through a non-governmental education system. Under the aegis of this society was born Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology, KIET is a self-financed institute engaged in imparting technical, pharmaceutical and management education that has the approval of AICTE, is affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It is committed to generating, disseminating and preserving knowledge for the development of the society and to working hand in hand with others in order to evolve with the disruptively changing world.
