Department of Applied Sciences and TBI-KIET successfully organized five days residential camp for school students: INSPIRE from January 8 to January 12, 2020 sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Delhi. 154 students of various schools of all over Uttar Pradesh participated in this camp.

KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad organized INSPIRE-2K20 Internship Camp from the 8^th to 12^th January, 2020. INSPIRE Internship Camp is a scheme initiated by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India under its INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) program.

Dr. U. K. Sharma, Scientist F, DST, Delhi; and Dr. Nadir Sheikh Senior Scientist, CSIR-HRDC Centre, Ghaziabad, Dr. Krishan Lal,National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honors respectively.

Evening session invited talk of 08/01/2020 was delivered by eminent speaker Ms. Rita Sengupta (RSG) ,served as Director -Behavioral Science for more than 16 years at NIESBUD.

On the second day of INSPIRE 2K20 (09/01/2020) eminent speaker Dr. Jayant Kumar tripathi,Professor at the school of environmental sciences at JNU,delivered his talk on weathering and earth climate. 

On the second day of INSPIRE 2K20 ( 09/01/2020 ) eminent speaker Prof. Ashwani Pareek, Professor, Life sciences at JNU, delivered his talk on "Are We Ready To Feed 9 Billions?". 

Evening session "Invited talk" of second day of INSPIRE 2K20 (09/01/2020) was delivered by eminent speakers Mr. Akhand Pratap Singh (CEO Vinayak Aerospace Solutions LLP) and Mr. Sayar Singh  (Founder Oston Technology Pvt. ltd.) on "Tolerance and Ambiguities Experience Sharing"

Morning session "Invited talk" of Third day of INSPIRE 2K20 (10/01/2020) was delivered by eminent speakers Prof. R.B.Bapat (Professor, Indian Statistical Institute) on "How To Solve It? Illustrations of some problem solving techniques

On the third day, evening session of Five days residential camp of INSPIRE 2K20 (10/01/2020 ) ,organised by the department of applied sciences and TBI- KIET, invited speaker shri K.K. Dixit, Retd. Deputy Commissioner, Sales Tax, Etawah and Origami Expert, presented his talk on Learning and fun with origami".

 invited speaker Prof. Diwan S. Rawat, FRSC, Cchem (London) from department of Chemistry, University of Delhi and Prof. Ashok K. Ganguli,Deputy Director &Professor of Chemistry from IIT delhi, delivered talk on " innovations in Chemistry research field" and "Gifts of Science to Society" in morning session of forth day of the camp(11/01/2020).

Invited speaker Prof.Dhananjay V. Gadre, Assosiate professor and director Texas Instruments Centre for Embedded product design,NSTU,New Delhi delivered talk on " Tinkering for Scientist and Engineers" in the evening session of the fourth day

On the last day of INSPIRE-2K20 Prof. A.S. Ahluwalia from Panjab University ,Chandigarh and Dr. Amitabha Tripathi from .IIT, New Delhi delivered their talk on Life Sciences and Mathematics in morning session.

Valedictory ceremony of Inspire 2K20 was successfully conducted in afternoon session on 12/01/2020. The program started with Lamp Lighting ceremony by Chief Guest Shri Kuldeep Tyagi (Director Saraka Technologies), Guest of honour Shri S. C. Agarwal (Principal Dr. K. N. Modi School of Science and Commerce Inter College Modinagar). Dr. (Col.) A. Garg (Director- KIET), Dr. Manoj Goel (Joint Director-KIET), Shri Satyendra Srivastava (Chief Coordinator- INSPIRE-2K20) and Dr. C. M. Batra (Coordinator-INSPIRE-2K20) followed by Cultural Program by participants of INSPIRE-2K20 with full Enthusiasm.
