Department of Computer Applications organized a webinar on “Career Opportunities in Digital Marketing”. This webinar is attended by 47 students (MCA, EN, EI, EC, CS, IT) and 13 faculty members. In the current scenario of COVID-19, business style needs transformation. Transformation from “Present Marketing” to “Smart Digital Marketing”. It opens the door for new career in IT sector, including Data Analytics. Career is important aspect for students doing professional degrees. For this, they need guidance from an individual, who understand them. This webinar addressed the need of students to create a successful career path. It was a two-way session. As number of questions were raised related to students’ career prospects, and some of question related to research is also put forward by students and faculty members.

The following issues are addressed by resource person:

• Need of Digital Marketing in the current scenario or Digital Marketing as a career option.
• Importance of Data Analysis in Digital Marketing.
• Importance of communication skill, quantitative knowledge, aptitude addressed in an effective manner. 
• Business/Marketing Strategies.
• Growth of Digital Marketing in India and country-wise revenue was discussed.
• Various Digital experiences like Email Marketing, Content Marketing, SEO were discussed in detail. 

The students are benefitted and get answers of most of their doubts regarding their career.
