Report on Webinar on Theme “Breast Cancer Awareness Talk” at KSOP on 24th October 2020, time 4pm to 5 pm at Zoom platform
The programme commenced with welcoming of the Guest of Honor “Dr. Meenu Walia”, representatives of Zydus Cadila, Mr. Keyur Khambati, Group Product Manager; Mr. Ankit Bhasin, Area Business Manager; Mr. Prashant Kumar, Senior Regional Business Manager and Mr. Pankaj Kataria, Business Development Manager with whom KIET SCHOOL OF PHARMACY have collaborated to organize the awareness session.
Principal, KSOP, Dr. K.Nagarajan, Dr. Ritu Gupta, faculty members, students and all participants were also welcomed.
This was followed by a welcome address by Dr. K.Nagarajan Principal KIET School of Pharmacy to the chief guest and all the participants. Dr. K. Nagarajan also read Director Sir’s Dr. (Col.) A, Garg inspirational message to motivate the participants.
After the welcome address, Mr. Keyur Khambati shared an overview of Zydus Cadila company and brought into attention that the company is also trying to bring out COVID vaccine in Indian population.
After his brief speech on the company, Dr. Ritu Gupta introduced Dr. Meenu Walia to all the participants and the session of madam began.
The session given by Dr. Meenu Mam highly enlightened all the participants as mam threw lot of valuable insights into the uncontrollable and controllable risk factors, foods for prevention of breast cancer, early detection of cancer using mammography and genetic testing of breast cancer and cleared many myths of breast cancer.
Around 110 participants joined the session and most of them were proactive in posting queries in online platform.
Questions from all participants were address by Dr. Meenu Madam. The session ended by giving Vote of Thanks to madam and all participants by Dr. Ashu Mittal.
