Webinar on "HPTLC APPLICATIONS IN POLYHERBAL FORMULATION STANDARDIZATION USING MARKERS" by KSOP on 5th March 2022
KIET School of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad and Labchrom Scientific LLP, Mumbai organized a webinar on “HPTLC applications in Polyherbal formulation standardization using markers" on 5th March 2022 (Saturday) for faculty members and research scholars.
The session was started with formal welcome to the Invited Guest in Virtual mode .
The speaker for the session wasProf. (Dr.) Badmanaban. R, M. Pharm., PhD, Head of the Department - Pharmacognosy, Nirmala College of Pharmacy, Muvattupuzha P.O, Ernakulam District, Kerala. Dr. Badmanaban has beautifully fulfilled the requirement of the title. He started from the very basics of HPTLC, explaining all the aspects he described the significance of the technique in quality control of the polyherbal formulations. He also discussed the stability issues with herbal formulations, markers major transformations, analogy between manufacturing process and chemical transformations, marker’s generation, characterization, markers quantification and so on.
392 participants from every nook and corner of India registered for participating in the webinar. 240 passionate researchers from the various Institutes of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Imphal and from Sri Lanka attended the webinar with a great enthusiasm.
At the end of the Session the Vote of thanks was given and a Certificate of Appreciation was given as a token of gratitude.
The certificate of participation was distributed to all the participants of the Webinar.
