Brief about event (discussion points and takeaways)
Cabin4j is the startup of our one of Alumni. During the internship, interns will be working on research and development of cutting-edge technologies related to E-Commerce, Web Development, Cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc. Also, they will be provided with ample opportunities to become a full-stack developer/freelancer which will help them to secure their future even before completing their graduation. Below given are some of the highlights of the Session:
- The internship will commence in the 4th Semester and end at the end of the 7th Semester.
- The internship is off-site i.e. interns can work from any location.
- The internship is part time i.e. interns will need to work for 20 hours/week.
- There are no fixed hours and interns can manage their time at their convenience so that it does not interfere with their graduate course work.
- Interns will need to do their best to ensure that no unnecessary delays are done to the tasks they are provided with.
- Timelines:
- The initial 6 months will be training.
- The next 6 months will be a grooming period during which they will start contributing to the projects and become productive.
- After 1-year, interns will become eligible for Stipend which can range from Rs. 5000/- to Rs. 15000/- per month. The stipend will be only provided to those interns who prove their value through their productivity and contribution to the project(s).
- Every 6 months interns' performance will be evaluated and only interns with satisfactory performance will be allowed to continue with the internship.
- If interns successfully complete 1 year of internship they will be provided with an experience letter (internship completion letter).
