Department of Information Technology scheduled a guest session on “Getting started with AWS Cloud Essential” by Dr. Anil Kumar Giri, senior technical trainer, Amazon Internet Services Private Limited. It is important for students to have practical exposure from the industry point of view. It helps students to focus on project and application-oriented learning.  

Brief about event (discussion points and takeaways)

Lecturer started with the importance of cloud computing. Problem of on demand access to computers, storage networks, databases can only be overcome by cloud computing. Lecturer advised everyone to explore about ECZ, lambda, EKS, ECR. He also mentioned the importance of DBMS, DAA, DSA and OS importance for our future roles in any field of computing.
