• The Medicinal Plants Exhibition (MPEX’25) was held on 29.04.2025 (4:00 p.m. onwards), in the Pharmacognosy Lab with the following objectives:
  • To create awareness among the students regarding the medicinal importance of the commonly available plants
  • To create a team spirit in the students
  • To enhance their presentation skills
  • To enrich our herbal garden with some therapeutically beneficial plants
  • Total no. of Participants: 50 students of KSOP
  • Few of the plants exhibited were Murraya koengii, Tinospora cordifolia, Aloe vera, Vinca rosea, Trachyspermum ammi, Kalanchoe pinnata, Ocimum sanctum, Datura innoxia, Emblica officinalis, Codiaeum variegatum, Clitoria ternatea.
  • Target audience: All the D.Pharm, B. Pharm students, Faculty and staff of KSOP
  • The compassionate presence of Dr. K. Nagarajan inspired the students. The competition was judged by Dr. Snigdha Bhardwaj and Mr. Surya Prakash.
  • Results:
• Ist Position: Parnika and Kashish (D.Pharm I year)
• IInd Position: Anushree Aashiyan and Diksha Arya (B.Pharm II year)
• IIIrd Position: Aarti Choudhary (B.Pharm II year)
• Consolation Prize: Neetu and Kirti (B.Pharm I year)    
• The winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000, first runner up received Rs. 1500 while second runner up Rs. 1000.
