The programme began with the welcoming of the Expert Speakers Mr. Navdeep Singh-Manager Customer Support, Mr. Rajesh Kumar- Manager Regional Tech. Support and Mr. Mohit Sharma- Sr. Application Specialist by Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan - Principal - KSOP by Oxy plant.

The workshop cum hands on training session was mapped with Sustainable Development Goals No-4 (SDG-4) (Quality Education).

After the presentation session, participants were divided into two batches for the hands-on training. Mr. Navdeep Singh has given training on UV and FT-IR and Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Mohit Sharma on Gas Chromatography (GC).

The workshop cum hands on training was full of learning for the participants.

More than 35 PG students and 15 faculty/staff members were present in the different sessions. 

Highlights of the Talk:

1. Principle of GC, UV and FTIR
2. Utility of instruments in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
3. Skill upgradation for students and faculty.
4. Session on Trouble shooting techniques
5. Real time problem discussions.

The session ends with Q&A from the participants. 

After the session Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan sir and Dr. Praveen K, Dixit (Asst. Head Deptt. Skill Development Cell) have facilitated the guests by presenting KIET mementos.

The program was well coordinated by Dr. Praveen K. Dixit, Ms. Pragati Gupta, Mr. Sanjeev Chauhan, Mrs. Vandana Sharma under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan.
