Prof. Gupta did his B. Tech. from REC, Kurukshetra (Now, NIT, Kurukshetra) in the year 1999, and received the M. Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from UPTU Lucknow and JMI, New Delhi in year 2008 and 2012 respectively. His research interests are in the areas of Neural Networks, Networks-on-Chip, Image Processing and Fuzzy Logic. He has published about forty research papers in refereed International and National Journals and proceedings of International and National conferences. He has been serving as Treasurer, IEEE-Computational Intelligence Society, Delhi Chapter. He has also served as a Member of Jury Panel of All IEEE-Region10 (THE ASIA PACIFIC REGION) Engineers Humanitarian Challenge. One of the projects - Facilitation of Medical Expertise in Cancer under the supervision of Prof. Gupta is funded by IEEE USA. He received a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding performance in KIET Ghaziabad for the Academic Year 2012-13. He has been recognized for the innovative and promising concept design entitled Record for Life by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
