KIET School of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad organized an AICTE event on “Discrimination Against Women Pakwada” as a part of IIC event on 26^th November 2022 (Saturday) for the students.
The session started with a formal welcome to the Joint Director Dr. Manoj Goel and Principal Dr. K. Nagarajan.

Three events i.e. Poster making, Street Painting and Role Play were organized based on the following themes.

1.  Gender equality
2. Women’s rights
3. Women’s Physical abuse
4. Women’s Justice
5. Women harassment
6. Female foeticide
7. Women Empowerment
8. Workplace discrimination
9. Freedom to women
10. Government schemes for women
11. Women anti-ragging
12. Women leadership

40 participantsfrom various Pharmacy courses D.Pharm and B.Pharm had registered for participating in the events. Students enjoyed the events and awareness regarding Women Discrimination was perpetrated. Heads and faculty of various departments of KIET Group of Institutions also visited the event. At the end of the program, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd positions in various events were announced.

The event was well coordinated by 3 student coordinators Ms. Radhika Aggarwal, Ms. Neeshu Tevetia and Ms. Akanksha Singh.
The program was well planned and executed by Dr. Roma Ghai, Dr. Deepti Katiyar and Dr. Kiran Sharma under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K. Nagarajan -Principal -KSOP.
