- Why you should take this course: English has been an integral part of Indian curriculum for decades and so plays a vital role in getting a job placement and admission in companies of repute like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and others. Today, it is a common requirement of recruitment almost everywhere like CAT, AFCAT, SSC CGL CDS NDA, UPSC, UPPSC, PGT and even management Admission Test conducted by different Institutions.
- Relevance: Today we have 4000 to 5000 living languages in the world, but English is by far the most widely used language. Nearly 300 million native speakers living in various countries, and approximately 250 million non-native speakers use English as a secondary language. If we count total users of this language, then this will certainly be over one sixth of the total populace of the world. Today it is the major language of debate and discussion at UNO, and the language of command for the NATO. It is the official language of international Aviation. Surprisingly, all over the globe, more than 60% programs are broadcasted and telecasted in this language. Not only this more than 70% of the mails are in English. Of course, the circumference of this language is increasing day by day. That is why today globalization privatization and advancement in science and technology has made it imperative on us, to learn English Grammar, speak, and write like native speaker.

- About the Instructor- Dr. Vipin Kumar Tyagi, Assistant Professor of English, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi- NCR affiliated to Dr. APJ AKT University, Lucknow has a wide experience of more than 13 years in academics. He was conferred Ph.D. degree in English in 2007. He has attended many national and international seminars/ conferences of repute. He has published several research articles/ papers in various national and international journals which have been appreciated and reviewed by learned professors. Dr. Tyagi has a keen interest in research in English literature and language. He has also been awarded as CEGR Certified Academic Leader from Centre for Education and Growth and Research. He is also certified Human Values & Professional Ethics Trainer from IIT Kanpur. He also published a book “Technical Communication Skills” from OPH, New Delhi, and Soft Skills for Engineers & Professionals, BlueRose Publisher, New Delhi.
