Adequate number of rooms for lectures (core/electives), seminar, tutorials, etc., for the programme (10)

Adequate facilities are available in the department for the conduct of lectures, tutorials, seminars, and meetings. Adequate air-conditioned classrooms dedicated to individual sections and year’s students, seminar room, departmental library, a mini-conference room, and a meeting room are available for this purpose. These rooms are well ventilated and spacious and are equipped with chairs, tables, whiteboards, smartboards, podiums, overhead projectors, and LCD projectors.

Each lecture, seminar, and tutorial room is equipped with black board and also has facilities for connecting overhead projector and LCD projector. Eight classrooms are fitted with dedicated LCD projectors.

Acoustics, classroom size, conditions and chair/benches, air circulation, lighting, exits, ambience, and such other amenities/facilities (5).

The rooms for conduct of lectures, tutorials, seminars, and meetings are airy and well lit. The classrooms are very spacious to accommodate comfortably the whole class. These rooms are well ventilated and spacious and are equipped with chairs, tables, black boards, podium etc. Besides, the quality of acoustics is good as the voice of the teacher/ students can be heard clearly.
