The library of KIET School of Pharmacy has more than 10000 books on various core subjects of pharmaceuticals sciences. It is also rich in a wide range of reference books. The library is a member of DELNET, British Council Library and INDEST. The library is fully automated with RAMLIB library management system. Every year about 800 new books are added to the library. The students are provided with the library cum bar-coded ID cards, where they can borrow the library books for a period of 15 days. Meritorious students are provided with additional library cards.

Chemistry Lab

• Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab. is meant for test and identification of impurities; synthesis and purification of chemical compounds; analysis of biological samples like urine, blood etc.

Pharmaceutics Lab

• Pharmaceutics Lab. is suitable for carrying out activities pertaining to formulation and evaluation of various pharmaceuticals dosage forms. It is also suitable for developing novel drug delivery system, controlled released formulations, stability studies and accelerated stability studies of pharmaceutical dosage forms.

Pharmacology Lab

• Pharmacology Lab. In-vitro and in-vivo studies of the pharmacological effect of drugs and their extract on experimental animals are conducted. It is also suitable for conducting bioassays for determining the strength of the drugs. The lab is most suitable for the purpose of screening of new drug molecules for pharmacological and side effects of drugs.

Pharmacognosy Lab

• Pharmacognosy Lab. is meant for isolation, separation, purification, identification and evaluation of medicinal plants by studying morphology, microscopy and powder analysis. The lab is also suitable for organoleptic evaluation of crude and natural drugs. The laboratory is also meant for extraction of active principles of crude drugs.

Microbiology Lab

• Microbiology Lab. is attached aseptic room as per GLP guide lines is suitable for preparation and sterilization of culture media both for static and broth cultures. It is also used for staining and identification of bacteria and fungi. The lab is also suitable for the evaluation of antiseptics and disinfectants, for the determination of phenol coefficient, microbial assay of vitamins, antibiotics etc.

Machine Room

• Machine Room: Pharmaceutics lab has an attached machine room equipped with all the modern equipments and instruments related to the production and in house quality control of tablets, capsules, liquids and injectables.

Computer Lab

• Computer Lab. of KSOP has a separate computer lab with 30 high end configuration computers outfitted with advanced software and broadband internet connectivity. The laboratory is meant for learning and conducting practical as per the syllabus. It is also used by all the students and faculty for their presentations and for ready retrieval of information.

Pharmaceutics Research Lab

The Department of Pharmaceutics offers lab infrastructure with sophisticated instrumentation for Conventional & Novel Drug delivery System (NDDS), Analytical Method Development , Some state-of-art equipments in Pharmaceutics and Central Instrumentation lab for pharmaceutics related researches are Double Cone Blender, Pelletisation Pan, Granulators, Coaters, Tablet Punching machine, Capsule filling machine, Dissolution Test Apparatus, UV, HPLC, FT-IR spectrophotometer, Probe sonicator, Lyophilizer, Homogeniser, spheronizers, Stability oven, Deep Freezer, Referigerated centrifuge, Laminar air flow and Brokefield Viscometer
